So many Millennials means a lot of awesome companies have expanded into Boston. Boston has embraced the so-called sharing economy head on–things like Uber, Airbnb, and other apps designed to make the lives of transient young people easier are popular and prevalent. Boston also ranks third in the country for its public transportation, a big boon for those of us without cars. Given that there are so many students in Boston, subletting an apartment is easier than ever. New tech-based companies are cropping up that aim to help summer residents looking for a place to stay. Like other cities, Boston is starting to see some experimental co-living as well–take Krash, for example, which is short-term communal housing for adults.
