Pepe The Frog Is a Hate Symbol Now?

If you’re like me, and haven’t paid much attention to the exact happenings of the alt-right internet, Pepe the Frog is a meme that has been continuously used by alt-right campaigners and Donald Trump supporters.

According to Anti-Defamation League, the image has been appropriated for “bigoted themes,” “a tendency exacerbated by the controversial and contentious 2016 presidential election.” The ADL has, today, declared it a hate symbol.
