The so-called Notorious RBG, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, said it’s “dumb” and “disrespectful” of Colin Kaepernick and other football players to protest the national anthem by not standing up. In an interview with Yahoo News she didn’t hesitate to air all her opinions on the recent controversy. She did not seem to understand the reasons why they’re doing what they’re doing.
“Would I arrest them for doing it? No,” she said. “I think it’s dumb and disrespectful. I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning. I think it’s a terrible thing to do, but I wouldn’t lock a person up for doing it. I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act.”
