Trump Butts Heads With the Media

Donald Trump began his day with a tweet announcing he was backing out of a meeting he had set up with The New York Times.

But The New York Times had no clue why. Trump claims that the terms and conditions of the interview had changed but the NYT denies that and says the President-elect had agreed to everything, including an on-the-record meeting with reporters and columnists.

Tuesday’s front-page column questioned whether Trump’s “business deals” presented conflicts of interests with his new role. Trump perhaps used the cancellation as a way to get back at the NYT. According to Politico, Trump has tweeted criticisms of a “failing” NYT nine times since his election.

Still, the NYT continues to throw shade with some stellar sub-tweets:
