Long story short, last month the New Yorker received a letter from “some creep” claiming to be the Unabomber. The New Yorker posted the letter on Twitter and offered up an exclusive interview. Ted Kaczynski (the actual Unabomber) caught wind of this and contacted BuzzFeed, addressing “journalists in general,” to set the record straight, calling the journalists who fell for it “stupid” and “lazy.” Read the full letter here.
I’d just like to point out that the most coherent, rational public critique of journalism in 2016 comes from the Unabomber.
