Nordstrom Drops Ivanka Trump’s Brand

Popular retail chain Nordstrom has said that it will stop selling Ivanka Trump merchandise, due to its poor performance. While the stores will sell off any items they still have in stock, the company didn’t purchase any additional inventory for the new season.

Calls to boycott companies associated with President Donald Trump have abounded since the election–obviously his daughter’s label has been a big target. Nordstrom claims that the decision to drop Ivanka’s line wasn’t political, but Trump of course decided to weigh in with a tweet:
