SETI: Distant Planet Maybe Sending Signals to Earth

Whether you believe in extraterrestrial life or not, something is happening, but we’re not sure what yet. SETI, or Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, is investigating strange signals emitting from “a 6.3-billion-year-old star in the constellation Hercules—95 light years away from Earth.” Researchers are not sure what the hell it actually it means yet, but they are trying to figure out where the signal is coming from and whether it’s coming from a intelligent civilization. So far scientist say that the civilization would have to be exceptionally intelligent, even more so than us, to have been able to harness enough power to emit such a signal from so far away. Crazy, right?

Still, I’ve watched enough Twilight Zone to wonder that maybe, just maybe, SETI is actually detecting a message from a future (present) Earth.
