Late last night at LAX, there were reports of an active shooter. Panicked passengers ran out of the airport or into secluded and more secure areas, like bathrooms. While the threat turned out to be false, it did lead to grounded flights and gridlock. It seems as though the reports of a gunman were sparked by a loud noise in the terminal.

While everything turned out alright, it was certainly a scary few minutes for some Los Angeles travelers.
