Government to ITT: You’re Cut Off

The Department of Education is cracking down on ITT Educational Services, one of the largest for-profit education companies in the country. The company is no longer allowed to enroll students who use federal financial aid, despite the fact that ITT relies heavily on exactly those kinds of students to stay afloat. Recent government crackdowns on for-profit institutions are welcomed by many who feel as though they were taken advantage of by these schools and their parent companies.
