The $3.8 billion dollar Dakota Access Pipeline owners are suing Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Chairman David Archambault and eight other activist for supposed violent protests against the construction of the oil pipeline.
Last week, several protesters were arrested and Dakota Access LLC claimed that they threatened to harm pipeline workers with a large knife and that Chairman Archambault excused all Tribal employees from pipeline work and this halted production.
