David Mueller, a former radio show host in Denver, is on trial for allegedly groping Taylor Swift during a meet-and-greet in 2013. Swift alleges that Mueller reached under her dress and grabbed her butt while they were posing for a photo. After Swift told her mother and members of her team about the incident a few days later, Mueller was fired. He sued Swift in 2015, claiming that her team pressured his radio station to fire him. In response, Swift countersued him, claiming that he had touched her inappropriately. That trial is currently underway.
Yesterday, Swift’s mother, Andrea Swift, testified. She recounted Swift’s emotional state after the photo was taken, claiming that her daughter said, “Mom, a guy just grabbed my ass. I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time.” Earlier today, Taylor Swift took the stand and testified that she was “completely sure” about what happened. “It was a definite grab. A very long grab,” she said.
