Officer Caught on Video Kicking Handcuffed Man in the Head

An Ohio police officer who was involved in the fatal shooting of a black man named Henry Green last year has now been recorded on video kicking a handcuffed black man in the head. Officer Zachary Rosen has been put on non-patrol duty awaiting an investigation. But the violent video sparked outrage and people are calling for justice.

Rosen and other officers had taken Demarko Anderson, 22, into custody after answering a call about a man threatening to shoot others. While Anderson was handcuffed and lying on his stomach, Rosen kicked him in the head. The video was posted on Saturday. “The action taken by one of our officers does not meet the standards by the Columbus Division of Police,” police said in a statement.

Last June, Rosen and another officer opened fire on Henry Green, as they claimed he started shooting at them. Last month, a grand jury chose to not indict the officers. But this new video doesn’t look good for Rosen.
