If you’re a history nerd, or just looking to explore one of the U.S.’s most historic cities, there’s plenty to do in Boston. There’s the Freedom Trail, where you can see things like the site of the Boston Massacre, Paul Revere’s house, and the Old North church. If you like walking tours, there’s also the Black Heritage Trail which includes the African Meeting House, the oldest surviving black church in the U.S.
If none of that history sounds appealing, why not try living like you’re in the 1920s? Speakeasies are very hot right now in Boston–for example, Back Bar in Somerville, or Brick and Mortar in Cambridge.
