Carl Gibson, 28, of Concord, New Hampshire had been working for Democrat Maureen Mann, who just lost a close special election for a New Hampshire House seat. To add insult to injury, however, Gibson was just arrested for sending out a fake news report email that Mann’s opponent had dropped out of the race. He has since admitted that he had a few too many beers before coming up with that brilliant plan.
