As cultural champions of “Netflix and chill” and binge-watching, Netflix is looking out for the little guy (and itself) by pressuring the FCC to cut off data caps. Data caps, or data thresholds, allow internet providers to charge customers for how much internet they use and to charge them fees when they surpass their monthly data allowances.
In a statement to the FCC, Netflix basically said it ain’t fair! Users should be able to to watch as much TV as their hearts desire anytime and anywhere.
