The Hyowon Healing Center in Seoul has been offering free mock funerals since 2012. The mock funerals garner participants with terminal illnesses, some others who want to try to get rid of suicidal thoughts, but mostly the curious, who often take selfies in their coffins after the two hour experience.

Companies have also used mock funerals for the employees to boost morale and productivity. Because work days can become much less stressful when you remember that you’re alive and breathing.
