New York Marathon Runs Well, but Has Top Security

Yesterday, 50,000 runners took on the New York Marathon. With two days to go until the Presidential election and considering that both candidates are from New York, security was at an all-time high with 10 percent more cops on duty compared to last year. The female winner of the race was a 34-year-old mother of two, Mary Keitany from Kenya, for the third year in a row. The winner on the male side was Ghirmay Ghebreslassie of Eritrea.

That’s some workout inspiration for a Monday morning!
