Monday morning saw some sad news. The first female U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno died at 78 due to complications from Parkinson’s disease. Reno was not only the first woman to serve as Attorney General but also was the longest serving AG in 150 years.
During her time in office she was embroiled in many controversial cases that generated a whole lot of criticism. But by the time she left the post she was widely respected.
