The Chicago Cubs Breaks the Curse of the Goat!

Last night the Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years–beating the Cleveland Indians who haven’t won in 68 years. After a very close 3-3 series and a very long game 7, that went into extra innings and was delayed because of rain, the Cubs finally scored two runs in the 10th inning and massive celebrations erupted. Hillary Clinton wrote a personal tweet congratulating the team.

Actor and Cubs fan Bill Murray, known for doing cool things like crashing fans’ weddings, photo bombing tourists’ photos, and singing karaoke with strangers, was there too. His champagne-soaked interview with the Cubs’ President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein is already being called legendary on the Internet.

A big moment for Cubs fans and Murray fans alike!
