Earthquake or Jurassic Park?

Black Friday brought out the worst in people as they pillaged stores all over the country, and one particular Nike store near Seattle was so completely trashed that some people thought an earthquake was to blame. One employee called it “Jurassic Park crazy.”

Consumerism can get ugly and it affects our planet in a disastrous way.

This year it seemed as if people actually consumed less, as stores in general weren’t as crowded as in previous years. But that turned out to be because online shopping increased a lot, with almost 109 million people shopping on the web compared to 103 million last year. Next: Cyber Monday and then Christmas shopping!
