What really has people talking this Friday is the unexpected announcement by Kanye West that he 1) didn’t vote and 2) if he had, he would have voted for Trump. At least that’s what he said during a concert in San Jose, California, last night. Since he has previously criticized former Republican President George W. Bush for not caring about black people, his fans were clearly shocked by his statement. He also said that black people should stop focusing so much on race, and that America is a racist country.

Some fans booing, throwing stuff at Kanye as he continues to talk, instead of perform.

It is not clear what he expected when he turned his concert into a long political monologue, but when people kept booing he said, “am I not allowed to have an opinion?”
