Ahmad Khan Rahimi, the man who placed bombs in New York and New Jersey in September, was officially charged yesterday afternoon and will be arraigned today. The charges include using a weapon of mass destruction, bombing a place of public use, and using a destructive device in furtherance of a crime of violence. Luckily, only the bomb in New York exploded and no one was killed, but 30 people were hurt and Rahimi himself was pretty severely injured after a gunfight with the police a couple of days later. His bail is set at $5.2 million.
