Yesterday, a Russian official said that the Russian government was in touch with the Trump campaign during the election. “Obviously, we know most of the people from his entourage,” said the official, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, in an interview with Russian state media.

Trump’s spokespeople immediately denied having any kind of contact with Russia. But this draws new attention to previous speculations that Moscow had a finger in the pie. The hack of the DNC, the leaked Clinton emails from Wikileaks, and Trump’s comments about Putin’s style of leadership are all certainly interesting.

The links with Russia though, when they’re fully understood and Russia turns and leaks against Trump, may be what gets him impeached.
