Welcome to RantCrush Top 5, where we take you through today’s top five controversial stories in the world of law and policy. Who’s ranting and raving right now? Check it out below:
A new study suggests that the Zika virus could cause infertility in men. So far, the symptoms–shrunken testicles, low sperm count, and low testosterone–have only been observed in mice during experiments. But according to doctors, it is very likely that it would have the same effect on human men, and may also be irreversible. Scary news!
On the same topic, last week new research was published that showed that male birth control injections actually work! But the study was cut short because of side effects, such as depression, mood changes, and libido issues…so the same side effects that women have had to deal with for about 50 years.
So men want to stop the study for male birth control b/c they find it gives them acne, mood swings and cramps? WOW. WONDER HOW THAT FEELS
