RantCrush Top 5: May 19, 2017

Yesterday, Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) tweeted out a photo where he’s sitting on a railing near the Capitol Building chatting with Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR).

Everyone loved the candid picture, as well as Sasse’s humorous response, and a caption contest was born. The two winners are clearly whoever runs the Twitter accounts for Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT).

Cruz had a very timely reference:
