But What Did she Do-Si-Do with the Cookies?

A Kentucky Girl Scout leader took off with $15,000 worth of cookies, local authorities said. Leah Ann Vick, 26, picked up some cookie boxes and was supposed to pay for them after she sold them, as is usual procedure for the Girl Scouts. But then she went missing, and when people tried contacting her to get the money for the cookies, she was nowhere to be found. Apparently, she had multiple addresses but wasn’t present at any of them. She’s been on the lam since February. “We don’t know what she did with them,” said Pike Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Bartley. “It looks like she picked up the cookies and, now, she and the cookies have disappeared.” Later reports stated that Vick was arrested on Monday, but it’s unclear where she was hiding, and most importantly, what happened to the cookies.
