Whoops: TV Ads Praising the Repeal of Obamacare Air

On Friday night, some viewers saw an…untimely ad on their screens. Viewers were urged to thank certain Republican congressmen for “keeping” their promises and “replacing the Affordable Care Act with the better health care you deserve.” But the Affordable Care Act was never repealed and replaced, as House Republicans failed to get enough votes on their plan. The vote was canceled and the ACA is still in place, and probably will be for a while. At least four ads were aired in various districts, while eight ads were on display on the YouTube page of the American Action Network PAC, the organization that produced them.
