Conservative TV personality Tomi Lahren has reportedly been suspended from her nightly show “Tomi” for a week after saying that she is pro-choice on “The View.” She said that it would be hypocritical to advocate for a limited government that doesn’t interfere with people’s guns, and at the same time believe that the government can weigh in on women’s bodies.
Conservative journalists and people on social media immediately attacked Lahren, claiming it’s impossible to be both a conservative and pro-choice. “The View” hosts seemed pretty surprised as well, considering Lahren’s earlier remarks criticizing feminism and pro-choice advocates. But Lahren pointed out that all conservatives don’t need to “share the same brain on every issue.” Perhaps this could be the start of a more understanding political dialogue?
