Fox host Tucker Carlson invited science educator Bill Nye, widely known as “the Science Guy,” to chat about climate change. As expected, it didn’t take long for Carlson to lose his patience with Nye. He talked over Nye, who was trying to explain to what extent human beings have accelerated climate change, and interrupted him. He even claimed that he is open-minded and Nye is not.

Nye did his best to answer hypothetical questions from Carlson, such as when exactly the next ice age would have occurred if it weren’t for humans, and to what exact extent humans have contributed to global warming. Carlson also shouted at Nye, “you don’t know! You pretend that you know, but you don’t know.” When Carlson had enough of his guest, he cut him off and said time was up. But Nye had a calm and ominous answer and got the last word: “Carry on, Mr. Carlson. I’m sure we will cross paths again.”
