Lady Gaga Barred from China Following Meeting with Dalai Lama

Last Sunday, Lady Gaga and the Dalai Lama met to discuss mental health, yoga, meditation and the world. Shortly after the meeting took place, China banned Lady Gaga, according to a Hong Kong-based newspaper. As part of the ban, Chinese media organizations have been ordered to halt distribution of the artist’s music and state-owned media has been told to condemn the meeting. Why? Because China is increasingly paranoid that the Dalai Lama’s affairs abroad are promoting Tibetan independence. China’s foreign ministry spokesman said: “We hope that people from the international community can be fully aware of his true colors and nature.” Looks like Lady Gaga and China have quite the “Bad Romance” now.
