Yesterday morning, a swarm of about 20,000 honeybees hovered around the entrance to Vox Media’s headquarters. This is not really what you expect or want on your morning commute in 90-something degree heat, but at least there was caution tape put up.
Beekeepers soon came to scoop them up and said the bees were just looking for a new home. Apparently it is “swarming season” right now. A ton of passersby stopped and took photos, and clearly, people on social media had a lot of fun with the bee attack.
