It is Flag Day! Since the attack on Emanuel AME church in Charleston, many U.S. states have removed the Confederate flag from public buildings. Still, some continue to rep the flag. This morning, a “Take It Down” rally stood outside the Capitol building protesting the Confederate emblem’s presence in the Mississippi state flag:
The flag we honor today in the U.S. is the American flag, not the Confederate flag. Just a reminder.
