Dylann Roof is back in the news. It’s been nearly a year since he shot up a South Carolina church and killed nine congregants. Today, a judge ruled that a jury would decide his fate in court. Previously, Roof requested to waive his right to a jury trial and wanted to be tried by the judge instead. But this request was obviously denied.
