Scaramucci is a Bit Scary

Anthony Scaramucci, the new White House Communications Director, has only been on the job for a week, but is already making waves. Yesterday morning he called into “New Day” on CNN, and went on a nearly 30-minute rant in which he not-so-subtly blamed White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus for the information leaking out of the White House. He claimed on Twitter that “leaking” his financial disclosure forms–which are publicly available documents, for what it’s worth–was a felony.

And then yesterday afternoon, Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker published a piece on a phone conversation he had with Scaramucci. It was filled with vulgar, incendiary criticisms of his coworkers, including “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock. I’m not trying to build my own brand off the f*cking strength of the President. I’m here to serve the country.” In regards to Priebus, he said: “Reince is a f*cking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac.”

Colorful language is right.
