Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas is one of the senators who has said he would not vote for the revised health care bill. Now the bill is pretty much dead. Yesterday, reporters wanted to talk to Moran in the Capitol, but he wouldn’t have it. After answering questions for a few minutes, the senator decided to flee the scene and jumped the Senate subway tracks.
Moran has criticized the health care bill for taking away insurance from people with pre-existing conditions. Yesterday, he said he would vote in favor of repealing the Affordable Care Act now, with the aim of finding a replacement later.
