Halle, Do You Have a Secret Identity?

In Nigeria, using famous faces for various businesses/merchandise/movies has become a bizarre norm. But a recent odd advertisement has gone viral. A shop that offers legal services and sells legal accessories has a poster advertising its business, using the face of actress Halle Berry.

Buzzfeed reports that the picture appears to have been taken from Berry’s 2000 photoshoot for InStyle Magazine. And people on Twitter are wondering whether this is legal. Which is ironic, as the poster belongs to a legal services shop. But others point out that this is common in Nigeria, where people also claim to have spotted Beyoncé’s face advertising a chicken restaurant.
