Yesterday, President Trump started to talk about his budget outline. He wants to raise the budget for the military by $54 billion, which would be an increase of almost 10 percent. He’ll call for cuts to other departments in turn, including the Environmental Protection Agency. The cut to the EPA budget could be as high as 25 percent. The sizeable proposal garnered a lot of criticism online:
Trump said that this move will show Americans that he’s committed to keeping the country safe. Some other departments that will likely see cuts are aid to foreign governments and public broadcasting.
