At the annual National Prayer Breakfast this morning, President Trump reportedly said that people shouldn’t worry about his tough phone calls with other world leaders. He said, “We have to be tough. We’re being taken advantage by every nation in the world, virtually. It’s not going to happen anymore.”
The guests at the breakfast included King Abdullah of Jordan, but also media elites like the producer of the reality show “The Apprentice,” Mark Burnett. During his speech, Trump couldn’t help but also slam his successor on the show, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Calling the new show a disaster, he said, “I want to pray for Arnold’s ratings.” Earlier this month Trump mocked the Terminator’s version of the program and claimed that he had been the real “ratings machine” drawing viewers to the show. Arnold later answered with an interesting suggestion on Twitter–how about Trump and Schwarzenegger switch places?
