Michael Moore is at it again. The outspoken filmmaker, who “predicted” Donald Trump’s win months before the election, is now encouraging voters to protest his inauguration in January. On Twitter, he shared a link to the campaign DisruptJ20 that is urging people to interrupt the ceremony on January 20 to make it clear to “the whole world that the vast majority of people in the United States do not support his presidency or consent to his rule.”
On “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Wednesday night, Moore insinuated that something “crazy” might happen in the next six weeks, and when talking about the election he said, “nothing anyone has predicted has happened.” It’s unclear exactly what Moore expects.
At the same time, the recounts initiated by Jill Stein are going so-so. In Michigan, the effort has been halted. In Wisconsin, a federal judge is considering halting that effort too. And in Pennsylvania, there will be a hearing today to determine if the recount can begin. It’s all a big, crazy mess.
