Comedian Tom Arnold claims that he has footage of Donald Trump saying racist slurs on “The Apprentice.” He claims to have gotten that footage from people who worked on the show when Trump was the host, and that it’s a supercut of Trump saying a whole bunch of nasty things as a “funny Christmas video.” Arnold said in a radio interview: “I have the outtakes to ‘The Apprentice’ where he says every bad thing ever, every offensive, racist thing ever.”
So if Arnold has had access to these clips for a while, why is this just coming up now? Arnold claims that before the election, Hillary Clinton’s campaign team, as well as an agent for the new “Apprentice” host Arnold Schwarzenegger, got involved and asked him to release the clips. But he chose not release them because, at the time, the people who sent it to him could be on the hook for a “$5 million confidentiality agreement” payment. Arnold also doesn’t think that footage of Trump saying racist slurs would have made much of a difference to his supporters. But c’mon, wasn’t it worth a shot?
