University of Minnesota Football Players End Boycott

The University of Minnesota football team boycotted after 10 of their players were suspended for their involvement in an alleged sexual assault. The team refused to play based on concerns over “due process” for their teammates.

However, after the boycotting players learned the details of why their teammates were suspended, they stopped the boycott. Head Coach Tracy Claeys will also be donating $50,000 to victims of sexual assault.

But, regardless of how it ended, the boycott still left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths:
