Yesterday, an agent testified against Dylann Roof, on trial for shooting nine people in a Charleston church last year. She revealed that Roof had a list in his car with the names of five more predominantly black churches. He also had a piece of paper with the addresses of even more. But as Roof admitted in a videotaped confession that was played in court on Friday, he was too exhausted to go ahead with any more shootings after the one in Mother Emanuel AME Church. In the horrifying video, he laughed repeatedly and made exaggerated gun motions. He then shockingly said that “black people are killing white people everyday… What I did is so minuscule compared to what they do to white people every day.”
Now, Roof’s lawyers are mainly trying to avoid the death penalty and prosecutors have said the trial might be finished as early as Wednesday.
