Despite sanctions, South Korea confirmed that North Korea launched a missile on Wednesday. North Korea has been conducting missile tests all summer, but this time it’s different. This time the missile has gone farther than any missile launched by the country, covering 620 miles of distance and landing in Japanese waters. And let me tell you, the Japanese are pissssseedd! Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe rebuked the launch, calling it an “unforgivable act of violence.”
The U.S. and South Korea have agreed to start up “the advanced Terminal High Altitude Area Defense anti-missile system in the South” which is sure to have the North sweating. Although, Pyongyang has threatened a physical response, international officials don’t really believe they have it in them.
