U.S. Women’s soccer play Hope Solo, who has long been a famous face in the press because of her temper and domestic violence allegations, is facing a six-month ban from U.S. Soccer. At the Rio Olympics, Solo called the Swedish team, who defeated the American team, a “bunch of cowards.” The President of the organization said:

The comments by Hope Solo after the match against Sweden during the 2016 Olympics were unacceptable and do not meet the standard of conduct we require from our national team players.
