Pop star Kesha has dropped her sexual assault lawsuit against producer Dr. Luke in order to focus on her music career in order to fulfill her contractual obligations with Sony Music and be done with the company as soon as possible. That being said, Kesha will continue her fight in New York, where a judge denied her release from her contract with Sony Music under the pretense that her release would cause irreparable harm to the record label.
But let’s be honest. Kesha herself seems to have experienced irreparable harm dealing with the discomfort of working with someone that may have abused her. No one should have to deal with that. On the bright side, Kesha has received glowing support from her fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of her new album.
