The video depicts a ritual that involves the murder of a woman in white kneeling in the center. Reminiscent of dark and shadowy organizations like the Illuminati or those masked figures from Stanley Kubrick’s “Eyes Wide Shut,” the video is disturbing and an unwelcome blemish on CERN, one of the world’s premiere research facilities that is famous for its particle accelerator and role in Dan Brown’s “Angels & Demons.”
Officials dispute the video’s authenticity, condemn its content, and lay the blame at the hands of people who “take their sense of humor too far.” They claim that it was all just a joke.
So what do you think? Is CERN a secret outpost of the occult? Or did some scientists have a few too many sherries and let the night get away from them? Either way, it is certainly an incident that will find its way into conversations for weeks and months to come.
