2016, A Year of World Records! (And not just the Olympic kind)

Global warming is an issue that has stirred a lot of controversy. Many people simply refuse to acknowledge the possibility that human activity has had any significant impact upon the Earth’s climate. Yet, there are some things that are difficult to ignore. Recently the U.S. National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) declared this past July the hottest month since records began in 1880.

Now, one month may not appear to be very solid evidence. However, it is not only the world record for the hottest July. It comes on the coattails of the hottest June, May, April, March, February, and January on record. Not only that, every month for the past 13 months has been the hottest on record.
Take note: Some world records aren’t worth breaking and ain’t that an inconvenient truth?
