Donald Trump’s comments about Khizr and Ghazala Khan have officially pissed off former Republican nominee Senator John McCain. After Khizr Khan spoke at the DNC about Trump’s offensive rhetoric when it comes to Muslim Americans, Trump responded angrily, saying that Khan had no right to attack him and implying that he wasn’t allowing his wife to speak. So, then McCain spoke up, claiming that while he had endorsed Trump, his comments about the family of a slain veteran were unacceptable. McCain said: “While our party has bestowed upon him the nomination, it is not unaccompanied by the unfettered license to defame those who are best among us.”
