Twitter Loves Ivanka’s Neighbor

After the pro-LGBTQ dance party protest outside of Ivanka Trump’s house last weekend, a photo of one of her neighbors went viral. The neighbor in question was photographed dressed in a fur coat and was sipping a glass of wine while gleefully watching the protest. Cosmopolitan tracked her down–her name is Dianne Bruce and she was having dinner with her husband and her 94-year-old father, hence the wine glass.

“This wonderful car came in and there were two dancers on top. The most athletic, wonderful dancers I’ve ever seen. We were enjoying that thoroughly,” she said. Bruce is a Democrat and said that people should be allowed to protest as long as it doesn’t get violent. She’s “not particularly crazy about the Trump administration” and it’s a big difference from when Obama moved into the neighborhood. Bruce reported that he has been known to walk around and say “hi” to everyone. So far, she hasn’t received any neighborly casseroles from Ivanka. But she said, “I’m bad too because I haven’t taken over any chocolate chip cookies for the children.”
