Terror group ISIS has broken its silence on President Donald Trump and indirectly called the new U.S. president an “idiot” in an audio message that has been disseminated on social media. The group’s spokesperson Abu Hasan al-Muhajir said in the message that America is “bankrupt, and the signs of your demise are evident to every eye. There is no more evidence than the fact that you are being run by an idiot who does not know what Syria or Iraq or Islam is.”

The group has been conspicuously silent ever since Trump was elected and terrorism experts have warned that the president’s anti-Muslim stance could serve as a boost for Islamic extremist propaganda. Muhajir also said that unless the U.S. backs away from the Middle East and stops supporting anti-ISIS allies in the region, it should “await the bloodbath.”
